New Gulf Coast Villa

Restaurants

There are many restaurants in the area from fast food to Gourmet. The area is abundant with excellent local restaurants offering multi national cuisines. Don’t be put off by some of the restaurants facades as the old saying goes “Don’t judge a book by its cover” because we have found the food generally to be of a very high standard if not excellent. If you head towards the Dearborn Street area of Englewood you will find a number of excellent restaurants and bars.

For truly gourmet food, why not visit Gasparilla Island to the South and eat in some of the up-market restaurants such as the Pink Elephant with outside veranda, or Temptations where the locals gather for excellent fish and steaks.
Gasparilla also offers the ‘Loose Caboose’ in the centre of Boca Grande where a basket meal at lunchtime followed by handmade ice cream is a real treat. South Beach on the road out to the Southern most tip of the island is popular and offers a pleasant stop right on the beach.
